Every breed has a standard which serves as a blueprint for the ideal version of that breed.The purpose of this presentation is to teach you how to measure a dog using structural landmarks. These measurements can be applied to the ideals written in the standard for evaluation purposes. Some of the measurements can even help identify strengths and weakness so that we can condition effectively to improve performance, and work towards reducing the risk of injury. We will start with measurements that can be applied to any breed and then get into spinone specific measurements.
